Transformational CISO responsible for defining and executing the organization wide security transformation, establishing the CISO Office and strengthening governance, risk management, security capabilities and digital resilience.

Defined and embedded an organization wide security mission, vision and strategy, translating these into an integrated security architecture, Target Operating Model and capability model across strategic, tactical and operational levels.
Secured a budget increase of more than 300% within the first three months of appointment. Increased the budget by a further 200% for 2024 and another 50% for 2025.
Established the CISO Office and professionalized Governance, Risk and Compliance based on ISO 27001 and BIO2019, using IRAM2 and Quick Scan IB for risk assessments. Introduced a stronger focus on control design, implementation and operating effectiveness, supported by a formal security governance structure.
Grew the CISO Office from 2 FTE to 8.5 FTE within twelve months. Further growth to 14 FTE is planned for 2026 through the establishment of a Security Services Team.
Co leading the establishment of a Security Services Team responsible for the management and continued development of operational security capabilities and technical security solutions.
Accountable for the implementation of technical security solutions designed to strengthen the organization’s digital resilience.
Led the risk based adoption of Azure Sovereign Cloud and implemented the NCSC Cloud Security and Privacy Control Framework.
